Meals on Wheels

Meals on Wheels (MOW) is a service provided through the cooperation of EHM Senior Solutions and the Saline Area Senior Center (SASC). This is a privately funded program.

Below is the application with additional information. You may print it and mail, fax, or email it us. After we receive it, you will receive a call from our MOW Administrator.

Meals will be delivered by a volunteer between 11:30am and 1:30pm.
Meals are delivered Monday - Friday only.
You may choose to get a hot meal for $3 and/or a sack meal for $1.
Meals are not delivered on national holidays. (New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, President's Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day)
If you will not be at home when your meal is delivered, please contact the SASC (we prefer a 24 hour notice so we can advise the route driver). An EMERGENCY CONTACT person is called each time a client has not cancelled and does not answer the door.
WE WILL NOT leave a meal if you are not home.
If you decide to discontinue the meals, we need a 24 hour notice.
Meals are not delivered if the Saline Schools are closed due to inclement weather.
Bills are not processed until the month has been completed. Bills will be sent out on the 1st or 2nd week of the following month. Please make the check payable to SASC.
